All participation is by legal agreement. Artist Agreement Sample No pay is by release, all you get is screen time (good for your demo reel) and a listing in the credits. Slow pay, is a spec. agreement. (payment if/when a project makes a profit) Disclaimer... to this day I have never made a profit, so don't hold your breath. Still, many believe that the day will come when my projects are recognized, popularized, and successfully marketed. This is not my gift. Some other person will be responsible for that. No harm in having a spec agreement as long as you are not counting on it to pan out. As I mentioned, selling is not my gift.
