Kachina
Cosmic Myth Paintings by Glen River
This group of paintings started with " Kachina Woman." in 2004. While earlier ( Energy Works ) sprang from Stereo Sun, the Kachina series represents a mythic spirit. The myth originates with southwestern "indigenous" tribes of North America. These works are displayed as Scroll Paintings. This type of hanging is sometimes referred to as a (thang-ka). See example
