The canvas is suspended between a top and bottom scroll pole. The top pole is used to wind the canvas up for transportation or storage. Always wind with the image facing out. The paintings are made with Acrylic. This has the flexibility desirable for scroll works and lends itself to a layering process similar to multi-track audio recording. The addition of many layers of color crates a richness and depth to the image.
At each end of the top scroll pole is a swivel connector for attaching a hanging solution. A clear mono-filiment line is included.

Acrylic offers the virtue of layering solid painting and glazes. I take advantage of these qualities to re-work the image to a harmony of concept and etheric atmosphere.
