The Johanna series of paintings was started toward the end of 2017. The mosaic above is made of 12 mosaic parts. The parts are 8.5"x 11" - 2018 - Acrylic on Paper (Working) not finished

The "Johanna" series came out of River's high regard for Johanna van Gogh-Bonger. Her heroic acts in (saving art for posterity) inspired River's series of portraits.
