Chakra Series For Sale

River discovered Chakras in his early teenage years. He became interested in Harry Houdini and his art of illusions. It quickly became clear that Houdini used special mind body skills which enabled his focus under extreme stress. River's search for answers led to hypnosis, meditation, and kundalini yoga. On the grand scale Albert Einstein convinced River that the universe was made of energy. River remarks, "I tend to think in both metaphorical and literal terms. The literal finite world is physics. The metaphorical world is mind organizational dynamics. The chakra meditation’s are the unification of metaphorical dynamics and physical energy."

There is a full listing of works for sale at the on line gallery, including: Chakra Art Database (listed by year)

We continue to build the River Art Museum Inc.

New at the Museum:

Bio Picture,

Our current project is Lisa Lindsay Daugherty, 1916 - 2014

We are now provisional custodians of Lisa's original small paintings and drawings. Slightly over 615 small and about 35 medium works on paper. Additionally the collection has hundreds of photos and documents. The provision is that the museum only gains full ownership after demonstrated ability for long term storage and management. Our temporary storage has been donated by Faith Vicinanza. We are grateful for Faith stepping in and generously donating this temporary storage space. We continue documenting Lisa's work and life to make visible her remarkable creative achievements. Special thanks to Friends of James Daugherty Foundation for their continued support of Lisa's Art and Legacy. They continue to be the main collection administrators.

I hope you are all well and prosperous.
